From Thursday 1 September 2022, Microsoft is evolving its licensing structure around Teams Meeting Rooms to simplify your journey and accelerate your adoption of Microsoft Meeting Rooms. These changes will help ensure that Cisilion delivers the most effective licensing to support your workplace’s needs.

Microsoft Teams Room Basic
This will now be free for up to 25 rooms and includes scheduling, joining meetings, content sharing, and collaborative whiteboarding, as well as basic security and management capabilities out-of-the-box.
Microsoft Teams Rooms Professional
Replacing Teams Rooms Premium, Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro delivers enhanced in-room meeting experiences, like intelligent audio or video, multiscreen support, a full set of device management capabilities, strong management, and security providing enterprise-grade management. This is combined with AI-driven operations that can provide automatic updates, problem detection, and AI resolution at scale. It’s the appropriate license for the Enterprise segment and for smaller organizations with larger room counts or more advanced needs.
