THAMES BRIDGE TREK | SATURDAY 7 SEPTEMBER, 10am

Cisco and Cisilion are teaming up to take on the Thames Bridges Trek on Saturday 7 September 2019, 10am to fundraise for Crisis, the UK national charity for homeless people. We have secured 300 spaces for Cisco Partners, friends and family across the IT community, and places will be filled on a first come first serve basis so secure yours now!

For our fundraising families, young adults aged between 14-18 can sign up for £19.75 and will not have sponsorship target or additional costs.

Join us For the Bridges Trek

Part of the Thames Path Challenge festival of events – The Bridges Trek heads through the heart of London, taking in unrivalled views of the skyline.

Participants are welcome to arrive at the start line from 9am to register and enjoy complementary teas and coffees ahead of the walk at 10am!

Setting out from Putney Bridge – walk with Team Cisco and Cisilion as we head downstream towards the City, zig-zagging over historic bridges – each with its own fascinating story – and a mid-point stop in Vauxhall for some snacks & drinks. Then, it’s a finish line celebration in Southwark past the majestic Tower Bridge – where a festival atmosphere awaits after an unforgettable journey! This is a great opportunity to get out, get fitter, meet others, explore the very best of London and raise money for Crisis!

  •  £5 | Session with Crisis advisor, introducing a homeless person to Crisis’ services
  • £12 | Travel costs to attend a flat viewing with a Crisis housing advisor
  • £25 | 1 hour of new home training for 5 homeless people, helping them develop skills to manage their tenancy
  • £52 | 2 days of CV writing & interview skills workshops, to improve employability
  • £96 | Accredited IT class for one term, helping a homeless person develop skills and build confidence
  • £130 | Accredited literacy class for one term, helping a homeless person develop skills and build confidence
  • £323 | 6 sessions of counselling for a homeless person, providing support from a mental health professional
  • £563 | Place at Crisis at Christmas for 20 homeless people, providing them with three hot meals a day, medical check-ups and other vital services
  • £13,000 | • 240 sessions of counselling with a mental health professional
       • 500 days of CV writing and interview skills workshops
       • 520 hours of new home training for five homeless people
       • 2,600 sessions with a Crisis advisor to introduce guests to Crisis’ services
  • £50,000 | 929 counselling sessions with support from a mental health professional
